Best Place to Get Lost, Venezia.

    

'FIND A BEAUTIFUL PLACE AND GET LOST' -anonymous

I don't remember when was the first time I heard this inspirational quote. Valentine's Day is not what makes my February special, it's a festival called Carnival, or Carnevale in Italian. This year, Venice Carnival takes place from January 31 - February 17. When I was on my exchange year, I aimed to experience what is that to 'get oneself lost', not lost in a miserably way though. lol. I and other exchange students were having a trip led by Intercultura to Venice, it was the first time I've ever been to this very famous place. Venice, or Venezia is a very romantic and truly a charming, beautiful place. Volunteers let us free for a few hours so we could explore the city. I and another friend wandered, it was truly 'wandering' because we walked without having any certain place to go in our minds, we let ourselves lost in it. I even forgot to take a lot of pictures! Canals, Buildings, Shops along alleyways, gondolas, and no cars at all! The last picture was taken when we were on the train heading back to our hometown. I assume it was the most stunning sunset I've seen ever! Unforgettable.

Lascerò queste foto a raccontare un po' il mio viaggio. Io e gli altri exchange students eravamo in una gita d'Intercultura a Venezia. È stata la mia prima volta d'andarci. Avevo sempre la voglia di perdersi in un bel luogo ed eccoci l'ho trovato, quindi dopo ci lasciavano ad esplorare io e un amico vagavamo. È stato veramente un vagabondaggio perché non avevamo niente i certi luoghi per andare. Io dimenticavo neanche fare tante le foto! L'ultima foto è stata fatta quando eravamo in treno per tornare a casa. Era un tramonto più bello che avevo mai visto!

               ฉันจำไม่ได้ว่าครั้งแรกที่ได้ยินคำคมประโยคนี้ตั้งแต่เมื่อไหร่ เอาจริงๆ สำหรับฉันเดือนกุมภาพันธ์ไม่ได้มีความพิเศษเพราะว่ามีวันวาเลนไทน์ แต่มีเทศกาลคาร์นิวาล(แม้เมืองไทยจะไม่มีก็เถอะ) ปีนี้เทศกาลคาร์นิวาลจัดขึ้นระหว่างวันที่ 31 มกราคมถึงวันที่ 17 กุมภาพันธ์ 

              ตอนที่ฉันอยู่ระหว่างการแลกเปลี่ยนที่ประเทศอิตาลี ฉันเคยตั้งเป้าหมายไว้ว่าครั้งหนึ่งต้องลอง'หลง'ไปในสถานที่สวยๆสักที่ ตอนนั้น ฉันและนักแลกเปลี่ยนคนอื่นๆมีทริปไปเที่ยวเมืองเวนิซ หรือเวเนเซียในภาษาอิตาเลี่ยนจัดโดยโครงการ มันเป็นครั้งแรกที่ฉันได้ไปเหยียบเมืองเวนิส เมืองที่มีชื่อเสียง เมืองที่โรแมนติกมากๆ และสวยมากๆไม่แพ้กัน หลังจากที่เราถึงที่นั่น อาสาสมัครก็ปล่อยเราอิสระเพื่อที่จะสำรวจเมือง ฉันกับเพื่อนอีกคนหนึ่งก็เดินเตร็จเตร่สำรวจเมืองอย่างไม่มีจุดหมายปลายทางที่แน่นอน หรือก็คือปล่อยตัวปล่อยใจให้หลงไปกับสถานที่ ฉันหลงลืมแม้กระทั่งเก็บภาพไว้เยอะๆด้วยซ้ำ ทั้งด้วยคลองต่างๆ ตึกราบ้านช่อง ร้านรวงต่างๆในตรอกซอย เรือกอนโดล่า แถมที่นี่ไม่มีรถยนต์สักคัน!! รูปภาพสุดท้ายได้ถูกถ่ายไว้ตอนที่เราอยู่บนรถไฟขากลับบ้าน มันเป็นวิวพระอาทิตย์ตกที่สวยที่สุดเท่าที่ฉันเคยเห็น! และลืมไม่ลงเช่นกัน
